How and Where Will I Work?
We serve clients globally through a network of offices in London, Boston, Chicago and New York. Our consultants are expected to spend two days a week at their home office and no more than three days a week at the client site. We also offer flexible part-time arrangements where appropriate and the ability to work from home, provided that it doesn't compromise our office culture and ability to work as a team. There's no set requirement to be internationally mobile, but for those who want to experience different cultures, we offer a range of international assignments.
What Type Of Work Will I Do?
In the first two years at Marakon, consultants work across a variety of industries on a range of issues. This broad, on-the-job exposure is critical to cementing the formal learning acquired through our core training program. Consultants are given a choice as to which assignments they take on and are offered the chance, but not the requirement, to specialize in one or more of our core areas of expertise (e.g. strategy, leadership & organisation, risk management).
How Much Will I Work?
We offer all consultants the flexibility to decide how much time they will commit to working at Marakon each year. Individuals can potentially opt for anywhere between 10 and 12 months of work per year by taking advantage of Marakon's 11&1 and 10&2 schemes. Pay and conditions are pro-rated based on each individual's commitment, and we strive hard to accommodate all requests. Our dedication to bringing deep experience of our unique practice has led us to make flexible options core to the way we serve clients.
