In the Community
At Marakon, we take great pride in the fact that over 90% of our employees get involved with a community service initiative or pro bono projects. In recent years, our consultants and staff have dedicated thousands of hours annually to volunteering worldwide. Participation is strongly encouraged.
Some of our larger pro bono projects in recent years have included work with the National Museum of Science and Industry in London, the Stanford University Alumni Association in Palo Alto, the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and Battery Dance Company in New York. Chicago
Recent volunteer and pro bono work includes: Greater Chicago Food Depository, Tax Assistance Program, Chicago Cares, Kellogg School of Management, “Award a Field Trip” with the organization Supplies for Dreams
London
Recent volunteer and pro bono work includes: DKH Legacy Trust Young Enterprise “In Business with the Games” program, pro bono business plan and investor presentation for Project ALFIE (a company that is creating a high-tech wheelchair for children with physical impairments).
New York
Recent volunteer and pro bono work has included: efforts on behalf of the New York Common Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, The Special Olympics, Battery Park Dance Company, Junior Achievement, Central Park Conservancy and All Soul’s Soup Kitchen.
